Our Yoga classes focus on three areas:
Mind/Body Coordination
Concentrates on linking breath, body, and
movement in a traditional sense. Emphasis on balancing
the body, mind, and spirit in a steady and comfortable manner.
Postures will enhance core strength, flexibility, muscle tone
and body awareness.
Flow
Emphasis on developing muscular tone and strength using your
own body weight.
Power
Offers an athletic, flowing, and challenging practice
that emphasizes, core strength, flexibility and concentration.
The poses work together to bring health to the body, mind,
and spirit.
Anyone can start the yoga classes at anytime and they are
ongoing. You can work at your own pace and not be restricted by
the class being held as a session. If you have to miss a class,
you won't be punished for it in the next class!
Yoga at MCFM is part of our Group Fitness membership. Along
with the yoga classes, you can also take BodySculpting and Bagboxing
classes! This variety of classes will give you the greatest opportunity
to reach your fitness goals.
