MCFM Bukou Dojo have root arts that contain traditional Japanese Swordsmanship as part of the curricula.
In MCFM Aikido and Bujinkan classes you will train in the proper drawing and cutting technique required when using a katana.
In the Aikido classes you will study:
Batto jutsu: Drawing and cutting in a simultaneous motion
Kenjutsu: Sword vs. sword combat
Tameshigiri: Test cutting targets for proper cutting and angles
Tachinage: Throwing with a sword
Tachi tori: taking a blade from an attacker
