Bag
Boxing classes provide an outstanding workout with energetic music and
your own choice of clothing. Both Floorwork (No contact) & Bagwork
(with a heavy bag, or in pairs with shields) is covered. This is not a
sparring class, so no one will be punching or kicking at you. In this
class you will learn how to properly punch and kick from certified
instructors. Bag Boxing is a great alternative to your usual aerobics
class. It is energetic, a great coordination and cardiovascular
workout. Plus, you are learning basic self-defense skills while you
workout. Classes are held on our olympic quality flooring. This
provides a great no skid training surface, while eliminating
rebound so it is gentle on the knees, hips, back, and neck.
If you wish to wear footwear while doing this class, you will need to purchase wrestling shoes to protect the mats.
BagBoxing
is part of our Group Fitness membership. You may attend Yoga and
BodySculpting classes with this program. The variety of classes will
give you the best opportunity to reach your fitness goals!
